Classic Lash Extensions
If you love a natural look, but are just wanting a little boost, then classic extensions are your match. We attach one extension to each lash to add the right amount of curl/length without feeling over the top.
Hybrid Lash Extensions
Can’t decide between natural and glam? Hybrid is a blend of classic and volume to give you the best of both worlds. They can offer a little bit of drama, while keeping things soft and wearable.
Volume/Mega Lash Extensions
Volume and Mega Volume lashes are typically the boldest, fullest look for your lashes. We apply handmade fans of super-light lashes to create fullness and fluff. They can be anywhere from a light fluff, to dense drama.

When either treatment are done by a well trained professional, both lash lifts and lash extensions are not damaging to your natural lashes.
Lash Lifts - When proper products, timing, aftercare, and the proper amount in between treatments are followed, your natural lashes stay healthy. At Illuminate the products we use are at the top of the industry standards.
Lash Extensions - It is important that the train profession is isolating well, using good products, and not overloading the lashes with too much weight. As well as proper aftercare instructions are being followed. This will keep your lashes healthy, and you shouldn’t need to take any breaks due to damage. At Illuminate everyone is trained to make sure we keep the integrity of your lashes as healthy as possible. -
The best thing you can do before any lash treatments is to come makeup-free, and a nice clean lash line. We understand sometime you are in a hurry and its not possible to clean the before you come. We do have products to clean off makeup, and its helpful to come a few minutes early to do that.

Lash Lifts - Avoid water, moisture, & eye products(mascara, etc) for 24-48 hours. Avoid excess heat for 48 hours. Lash Serums are optional, but encouraged.
Eyelash Extensions - Avoid water for 24 hours, unless you’ve been told otherwise. Avoid getting heat close to the lashes(oven, campfire), this can warp the shape of the extensions. Avoid wearing waterproof makeup. Avoid wearing mascara. Wash the lash line daily. Avoid oily products around the eyes. Do not pick or pull out the extensions. Only rub eye without touching the lashes/extensions. -
Yes. If the eyes are closed for a long period of time, if you contact lenses dry out, this can cause irritation. If possible we recommend removing them before the treatment.

We recommend every 4-6 weeks for lash lifts, and every 2-3 week fills for lash extensions.

Piercing with a hollow needle is much more sterile, safer, and easier for healing. Guns cause blunt force to punch through your ear, while hollow needles are more controlled and carve a small hole into your ear. This makes scarring less common and less trauma to the piercing area. Guns are used multiple times on different people, while hollow needle supplies are all “one time use”. This is why we feel like hollow needle is the way to go.

We recommend eating a good meal at least 1 hour before coming to get pierced, avoid any blood thinning medications (ibuprofen, excedrin, etc.) day of piercing, and feel welcome to bring a stress ball or fidget toy!

This depends on the piercing. Cartilage piercings take much longer to heal and need longer before being changed. Lobe piercings can be changed sooner. Communicate with your piercer to know what they recommend!

We recommend using a saline spray or wash. Rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide can be extremely drying.

Avoid twisting or touching piercing - Think of your piercing like a scab, if you twist it, is like pulling off the scab. When you touch it with your fingers this may introduce germs that can enter your fresh wound.
If my piercing feels good, still avoid sleeping on it until it COMPLETELY heals. It can take some piercings 1.5-2 years to fully heal. Sleeping on it before this. can cause drifting and tilting. I know it’s tempting, but you will thanks us later. Talk to our specialist for specific timelines for your piercings.
Keep your piercing dry to avoid bumps and infection. Showering is fine, but make sure to pat dry after. No swimming or submerging your piercing in water for at least 2 WEEKS.If you get a big bump - you may decide to take it out or keep it. They can go away on their own, but if its a keloid (which is highly uncommon) this will not go away. Keeping the piercing dry, don’t sleep on it, try not to hit it on anything, and avoiding twisting will help prevent, or help them heal.
