Throughout the program, you will begin with foundational techniques and gradually progress into more advanced methods. I believe it’s important not to rush this process. Taking the time to build skills step-by-step allows students to develop strong client relationships, observe and understand lash retention, build clientele loyalty, and fully process and practice each technique before moving on to the next. Moving too quickly can often lead to frustration or gaps in understanding the full scope of this craft and business. While it’s natural to feel excited to start your career as soon as possible, a thoughtful and intentional pace leads to stronger skills, greater confidence, and long-term success in the industry.

4 Month Schedule:

All kits include a mix of tools and supplies required for training. Some kit options also expand into professional supplies to help you begin offering services after graduation. While training at Illuminate, your client service pricing includes the use of Illuminate’s disposable supplies during in-studio services.

A minimum training kit is required for all students.

Basic Kit – $600

Includes the essential tools and supplies needed for class and to practice lash application at home. A great option for students who plan to begin their careers in a commission or hourly salon environment where products and supplies are typically provided.

Brow-Focused Kit – $925

Designed for students who want to emphasize brow and waxing services. Includes brow mapping, waxing, and brow service supplies, along with basic lash materials for practicing lash extensions at home.

Practical Kit – $1,000

A well-rounded starter kit that includes the essentials needed for training plus the core supplies to begin offering services including lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, brow services, and facial waxing. An excellent starting investment for students planning to work independently or from home after training.

Lash-Focused Kit – $1,275

Designed for students pursuing a lash-centered career. Includes expanded lash extension supplies and tools to support lash services, with fewer waxing and brow products.

Advanced Kit – $1,600

The most comprehensive kit option. Includes supplies to begin offering all services taught in the program, with expanded tools and products across lash, brow, and waxing services.

Ideal for students who want to start their careers independently without needing to purchase many additional supplies after graduation.

Kits do not include: 

Equipment like beds, lights, drawer banks, tabletop organizers, etc will not be included in any of the kits, and you will not need to provide these for yourself while you’re in school.

• Do I need experience to apply?

  • No! This program is for starting a beauty career, no license or experience is expected.

• How many hours per week is the program?

  • There is currently only 1 option for scheduling, and it is about 17-18 hours a week. See scheduling section for more details or any updates to this. 

• Can I work another job while in training? 

  • Yes! As long as it does not disrupt your school hours, you can have a job while in school. 

• What happens after graduation?

  • The state requires a written practical test, you can take this while in school or after graduation. Once you have passed these tests, and turned in all the required information to the state they will issue you a license. At the point you can start working as a lash & brow professional. 

• Do you help with job placement or studio transition? 

  • Although I can not guarantee a spot at Illuminate will be open by the time you are done with school, I hope to help you find a place that fits your beauty vision and goal by the time you graduate.
